F.A.Q's
What does it feel like to be hypnotised?

Hypnosis is a pleasant feeling, similar to how you feel just before you fall to sleep at night or just as you begin to wake up in a morning. You can hear everything. Some people ask if they have really been hypnotised, because it feels like such a normal state and they were expecting something very strange.

How do you put people into hypnosis?

Using words, a soothing tone, mental imagery and techniques such as deep breathing to induce a pleasant, lethargic state. The brain has different levels of consciousness, ranging from fully alert, to drowsy, to deeply asleep with variations in between. The unconscious mind is more accessible when the mind and body are calm. Therapeutic suggestions can then be given with good effect.

Can I get stuck in hypnosis?

No, everyone comes out of hypnosis. You will be in complete control throughout.

Is hypnosis mind control?

No, not at all. No-one under hypnosis can be induced to do anything against his/her will. The therapist uses therapeutic techniques to guide the client towards achieving his desired goals. Hypnosis is a poweful tool for change. Motivation is the key to change. The drive and energy for change is already within you. It just needs to be unlocked.
